Welcome to KJ’s Ice Barn, the newest ice rink in Utah! Whether you’re a seasoned skater or a first-timer, our Public Skate sessions offer fun for everyone. It’s the perfect opportunity to get on the ice with family, friends, or even on your own for some exercise, relaxation, or just to enjoy the cool atmosphere.
What is public skate?
Public Skate is an open skating session where skaters of all ages and skill levels can enjoy the rink. Glide around, practice your skills, or simply enjoy some fun on the ice in a relaxed, non-competitive environment. We welcome beginners and experienced skaters alike, and it’s a great way to spend time with family or meet new people!
Session details
- Skate at Your Own Pace: There’s no pressure to skate at a specific skill level. Whether you’re learning to skate or perfecting your hockey stops, our Public Skate sessions are for everyone.
- Family-Friendly Atmosphere: Bring the whole family! Our rink is a great place for all ages to enjoy the thrill of ice skating together.
- Music & Fun: We keep the atmosphere lively with music during the session, making it a fun and enjoyable time for skaters of all ages.
Admission and pricing
- Door Charge: There is a small door charge of $6 to access our Public Skate sessions. Please check this page for the latest rates, and keep in mind that we offer punch passes, family passes, and annual passes (check the pro shop)
- Skate Rentals: Don’t have your own skates? No problem! We offer skate rentals at affordable prices so that you can hit the ice without needing to bring your own equipment. Our rental skates are regularly maintained to ensure a smooth and safe skating experience. The cost is $2/Pair of Skates/Session
- Concessions Available: We have snacks, beverages, and food available for purchase during all public skate sessions.
